What is the role of public relations in the workplace? Public relations practitioners are responsible for an organization's reputation and profile, and for communicating information on behalf of that organization. As such, in-house PR practitioners are often in management positions.Our students who finish their education with the M.A. typically enter employment in the private sector. Some of our recent graduates have begun work in the fields of human resources, public relations, and event management. Most of our Ph.D. graduates teach at colleges and universities.
How is the league organized? SASA is run by volunteers who are committed to the mission of SASA and contribute their personal time and energy in helping SASA achieve its mission. An executive Board of Directors is voted on at the General Membership meeting. Directors serve one year terms (from 1 January through 31 December) and cannot serve in the same position for more than three consecutive terms.this time, we do not have any entry-level positions in Marketing.

What opportunities does a member have to participate within the chapter? Chapter Board Meetings: The Board meetings are held five times a year and are open to BACNC members. Attendance is not required but it does expose members to the current issues of the chapter and its committees. Chapter Committees: Several committees exist to handle the needs of the chapter and its members. These include the Education Committee, Public Relations Committee, Membership Committee and the Nominating Committee.
